What is Operation Christmas Child?

Operation Christmas Child is a project of Samaritan’s Purse, an international relief organization. Their mission is to provide local partners around the world with shoeboxes filled with small toys, hygiene items, and school supplies as a means of reaching out to children in their own communities with the Good News of Jesus Christ. They ship these simple gifts outside the United States to children affected by war, poverty, natural disaster, famine, and disease; and to children living on Native American reservations in the U.S. To learn more about Operation Christmas Child and the Samaritans Purse please click here.

How can you help?

Here at Crossway rather than having individuals pack their own shoeboxes we are asking people to bring 1-2 qualifying items. All items are due on November 10th. After that we will have a packing party with our kiddos on November 13th to share the excitement of giving with them. After shipping off our shoeboxes as a church we will be able to track where our boxes go, and see where the good news of the Lord is being spread through kindness and generosity.
